The Westergasterein is is easy to reach by bike. Around the venue there are enough spaces where you can place your bicycle. From the city center it will take you around 15 minutes to reach the venue.
From the city center you can take Tram 10 to the stop at Van Hallstraat. From there it is a 4 minute walk to the venue. If you come from Centraal Station or Sloterdijk station you can take bus 21 and also get out at Van Hallstraat.
If you come to the event by car, please be aware that it is not possible to enter the venue area by car. From the nearest parking area it is a 5 minute walk to the entrance. There is a large Q-park parking garage outside of the Westergasterein which is open 24 hours.
Everyone believed that Wonderland was a whimsical tale, a charming fantasy locked away in storybooks and childhood dreams. However, the truth is far more sinister – a twisted realm of nightmares has been lurking beneath the surface, waiting for the perfect moment to ensnare the unwary. This Halloween, the nightmare becomes reality as we face the ultimate descent into madness.
The hour has come to confront the chilling chaos of a warped wonderland. On Saturday, November 1st, 2025, from 10 PM to 5 AM, the 16th edition of Amsterdam Halloween will not be haunted by ghosts or ghouls, but by the nightmarish labyrinth of Down the Rabbit Hole: Alice in Horrorland. Prepare to navigate through grotesque tea parties and face deranged creatures as you fight to escape the grip of insanity.
This milestone event marks the 16th year anniversary, and it promises to be more intense and terrifying than ever before. Brace yourselves for a night of survival against all odds! Beware the twisted nightmare that awaits!
What is the minimum age?
18 years…so about to turn 18 doesn’t count. You may be asked to show your ID
What is the dresscode?
We have a very strict dress code: if you are not dressed up, you will not be allowed into the event. This year, our theme is "Nuclear Survival." Embrace the apocalyptic spirit and come as a survivor of the nuclear fallout or one of the mutated horrors lurking in the wasteland.
All participants in fitting attire are welcome to join the party. Follow us on Facebook and Instagram for outfit tips and to ensure your look is on point.
Are there lockers available?
There are lockers at the entrance. You can easily and safely store your belongings there, and won’t have to worry about them while enjoying your day.
Am I allowed to bring my camera?
You will be allowed to bring non-professional cameras into the event. You must obtain permission to bring a professional camera (please get in touch with info@amsterdamhalloween.nl) into the event.
I can't find my ticket confirmation email
Please email info@halloween.amsterdam from the email address you purchased your tickets with, and include proof of payment. If you are emailing from a different email address than that used to purchase the tickets, include the address used to purchase the tickets as well.
